My hollow arrived today in WA.  Boy was it packed well!!  It took me over 30 minutes to get the  heavy duty cardboard box off.  Anyway I absolutely love it and so do Macey and Dexter my two Siamese.  I've managed to get some good photos of them but I have to get advice on how to get them on computer to
you. 

The hollow looks wonderful, is so well made and  the colours are just as I imagined and go great with our home.  As you will see when I get photos to you, the cats have used every part of the hollow.  They are very active & playful and I'm sure it will keep them more occupied.  They are always "up to no good" (lol!) - they get into everything, so it is great they have their very own hollow to play, "fight on" and rest on. 

Once again thank you very much to you both.  It is a great product and I will certainly be
recommending it to my friends and fellow cat lovers.

Thank you so much for the giant hollow you made for me last year in time for christmas.

My Ragdoll kitten took to it straight away. I was a little worried she'd be put off by the size of it but she's adopted it as hers, and loves jumping from leaf to leaf and springing up from a leaf to the inside of the trunk  and then up through the top. Her favourite spot is the very top where she often falls asleep. 

My other cat a tabby moggie called Tazz, loves to climb up the back of it and sharpens her claws on it while stretching upwards.

She doesn't get that many opportunities to use it though as Jarrah (the ragdoll) is a bit possessive and likes to chase her away as soon as she sees her using it. Though she has gotten better at holding her ground.

I was very happy with the colours too. The light green blending nicely with the kitchen walls where it sits. Also it's nice and sturdy which is a huge plus as previous posts have been knocked over when the cat got real enthusiastic. My dad whose a huge perfectionist found it impossible to fault the hollow, and it's real nice to have a cat scratching post that's more like a piece of furniture.

Just want to say they tunnel and hollow have been a big success with Vinnie and Beau. (You may have seen what I put on cat-world).

I’m especially thrilled at seeing Vinnie tearing through and playing inside the tunnel- she was a very sick girl a few months ago and she seems so happy now and loves her new toy. Beau plays with her through the holes but has never been a tunnel cat.

For my cats and home the Tall Small is the perfect size.- and looks great.

Hi Maurie

I just wanted to give you an update on the gray small tall you made for my birman, Kiarra.

Well, it has been a giant success.  Not just with Kiarra, but also with our other cat, Cotton Candy, and our old fella, Bono.  Bono has the beginnings of arthritis in his back legs, so having the steps really helps him with getting up and down and getting some much needed exercise.

The other two throw themselves through the holes in the truck, and Kiarra always seems to end up hanging upside down and kicking with the back feet.

The hollow has stood up amazingly well.  Any other scratching post would have been torn to shreds by now given the punishment they've given it I've attached a couple of photos of our cats with their hollow.

The medium hollow arrived perfect and on time. Mia has investigated and worked out at least that it's a good way to get onto the window sill next to it, and that you can sleep in the bottom.

No doubt there are many more discoveries ahead for her. Here's an early picture. Will no doubt be more, especially when I get my second kitten in about three weeks.

Hi Maurie & Jenny,

Just a quick note to thank you so much for our wonderful cat scratcher. Bella our 4 month old british blue absolutely loves it.

As soon as it arrived she took to it like a duck  too water. She brings us so much enjoyment watching her play on it every night and morning when we are home.

She sleeps up the top like queen bea and enjoys watching everybody from up there.

I bought a tall small hollow from you in February and my burmese kitten Yuki absolutely loves it! She started playing on it from the first day she arrived. I was *so* impressed with the quality of the hollow, it's a masterpiece. From all the pictures and testimonials on your web site, I was expecting a great product, yet I was still totally blown away when the hollow arrived.

The tall small hollow is the perfect size for our townhouse! Its obvious a lot of time and effort is put into the construction of your hollows, they are worth every cent. The packaging it was sent in was excellent, there was no chance on earth the hollow was going to be damaged in transit.

He was the one who was scared of the Hollow, it took about a month for him to start using it!

Hi Maurie and Jenny!

Rem-ber-us? We're Snuggles and Cuddles! You made some very nice fur-ni-ture for us.

We really love playing on our hollow and tunnel together. It's so much fun! Both of us love to play chasies through the holes of the hollow and tunnel. The tunnel is really fun to sleep in too, espe-cial-ly when you want to hide from bratty brothers who keep trying to inter-rupt your beauty sleep.

It's also really good when we want to hide from Mummy when she wants to give us med-cine. YUCK! please don't tell her thats our favourite hiding spot because sometimes it takes her a bit of time to find us. Haha.

The hollow is really good when we want to sleep on a high spot and play music on the springies. We used to be able to sleep on the hollow together but now we're too big. Only one of us can fit and the other one falls (or gets pushed) off because there isn't enough space.

But we've figured out a really good secret! Want to know what it is?

We learned that the best way to kick your bratty brother off the hollow top is to sit on the top leaf and swat your anno-ying brother over and over again until he gets so anno-yed that he just has to jump off. The tail and the paws are the best places to swat.

The Hollow and tunnel are also great bec-au-se there is really nice carpet on it that feels nice to scratch. When we scratch the carpet on the hollow and tunnel Mummy gets really happy and tells us we are "good boys". She never tells us that when we scratch the carpet on the floor. When we scratch the carpet on the floor she glares at us and goes "humph!" I guess that makes her mad?

So we'd like to say thank you for making fur-ni-ture for us that makes us and Mummy happy!

The Hollow is a huge hit - I have some great photos that I'll email to you when I get a minute. My old black cat is delighted that he can climb again (he's so arthritic but he finds it easy to hop from leaf to leaf) and he is actually playing for the first time in over ten years - last night he was attacking a springy and chasing his tail on the top of the hollow. My other cat just likes the security of looking down on the world from the Funky Shelf. It really was worth every penny and has transformed them from hating suddenly being indoor cats to really seeming a lot happier.

I think my neighbours may well order one, too, and I'm saving up for a Log now.

My two gorgeous Tonkinese have been with me 2 weeks now. They're settling in beautifully - and LOVE their Medium Hollow, as you can see from these pics. Mind you, they also think my computer keyboard, my morning cup of coffee and just about everything else they can reach has been put in my home specifically for their amusement. :-)

Thank you so much for a wonderful play and relaxing space for these two. I'm sure having their Funky Hollow has helped these two adult cats settle in to a new home even sooner.

Hi Maurie

I thought I'd drop you an email and photos to thank you very much for the medium hollow we got from you a few weeks ago. We have recently bought a ragdoll kitten, McLintock, from Bella Lyn Ragdolls in Ballarat (we got the hollow first so it would be here when he arrived). He barely left the hollow for three days and still loves it now a month later. We even feed him on it.

With four dogs in the house, I think he sees the hollow as the only thing that's really his, as they can't climb on it and he uses it to get away from them. He loves to crouch on the leaves and leap on them as they go past. I've included a picture of McLintock and our dingo Rei, who is now his best friend.

The hollow's colours match our decor perfectly and everyone who visits comments on it. We also have a lot of landscape artwork in the house and it ties in brilliantly.

Dear Maurie & Jenny,

Just want to say thanks for the fantastic medium hollow I bought the babies for christmas last year.

When I got it through the front door my youngest cat (1yr old and the original "Scaredy Cat") was so frightened of it she ran up the stairs and wouldn't come down for a few days. It took her a month before she would sit on it. She has now traded in my lap for the top shelf of the hollow and won't let anyone else up there!!

I have put the hollow in a corner next to the window just under the pelmets. This suits the cats just fine as it gives them easy access to the top of the pelmets where two of them like to sleep. It suits me also as it means they no longer walk all over the entertainment unit to get to them (knocking over all the ornaments as they go!)

When people visit, the hollow is the first thing they notice, especially if it is adorned with cats. Everyone has commented favourably and it's difficult keeping toddlers from trying to get into it or trying to sit on it (thankfully we don't get too many toddlers visiting!)

So on behalf of Jaffa, Lilly and Squidgy (unfortunately for her, Queenie is not the least bit interested in the hollow)

I have attached a photo of my two babies Ciccio and Saffy. As you can see they have well and truly found the best place to sleep, every moment they get they argue over who will get the best position, but in the end they settle down together. It's been a great place for them to sleep, play hide and seek and perform many tricks. I could not imagine anything better to keep them amused for hours.

I am so glad I was bored one day and was channel surfing, otherwise I would never have known about Funky Cat Furniture. I saw one of your small hollows on The Price is Right as a prize and just knew I had to have one for Jasper.

I've attached another 2 photos of him on his hollow. He just loves climbing up and down, in and out. He has a wonderful view from the top leaf, so he spends some time there.

Max and Pixie love their chocolate and cream corner hollow (refer to pictures)! Now that we've had Pixie a few weeks they are really bonding and loving to play on the funky hollow together. The colours look wonderful and they match the chocolate in their coats! They just love it and our family and friends think it's very groovey!

My name is Megan and I was lucky enough to purchase a small hollow from you at the last Ringwood cat show at Bedford Park. I was originally to get a mini hollow, but when Mum and I saw the others we fell in love with a beautiful cream and blue small hollow.

You asked to see some pictures, so I thought I'd show you my kitten, Selina Kyle, (who was ten weeks when she was playing here) and how much she loves her hollow. She thinks she's a big scary jungle cat with her hollow, and she absolutely loves hiding in it and jumping out at anyone who walks past!

Hi there Maurie and Jenny,

I just thought I would write a quick note to thank you again for the fantastic hollow we bought a few weeks ago.

Our kitten Hermione absolutely loves it (pictures attached). It is so functional for her as it gives her somewhere to play, somewhere to lie in the sun and somewhere for her to hide away in. It is great for giving her a retreat away from our little girls as well. Also, we have had so many comments from people about how nice the hollow looks in the house. We pride ourselves on having a nice house with nice furniture so it was great that we could have a cat tree/hollow to suit it and not have to resort to getting one of the dodgy leopard print monstrosities that you often see in pet shops.

Anyway, thanks again for the great service, it was so lovely to deal with such friendly people as well.
